Explore the All-New Toyota RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid at Ottawa Toyota

The sixth-generation RAV4 kicks off with its most capable electrified version yet, and the Plug-In Hybrid is where Toyota put its boldest updates. Longer electric range, more power, and the brand's first-ever RAV4 GR SPORT all live under this one nameplate. Ottawa Toyota carries the all-new RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid for LaSalle County drivers who want to plug in for daily errands and still have serious power in reserve.

Up to 54 Miles of Electric-Only Range

Toyota's sixth-generation plug-in hybrid system gives the RAV4 PHEV a manufacturer-estimated all-electric driving range of up to 54 miles on the SE grade, a genuine increase over the outgoing RAV4 Prime. For most daily driving around Ottawa, that means running on electricity alone before the gas engine ever needs to kick in.

320 Horsepower and Standard AWD

Every RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid comes standard with all-wheel drive and a combined 320 horsepower, a meaningful jump from the prior generation's already quick Prime. Toyota adopted silicon carbide semiconductors in the front axle to achieve both miniaturization and high efficiency in the new system.

The First-Ever RAV4 GR SPORT

2026 marks the debut of the first-ever RAV4 GR SPORT, developed in collaboration with Toyota's GAZOO Racing company. It comes standard with the PHEV powertrain and AWD, along with GR-tuned suspension and steering, functional aerodynamics, sport seating, paddle shifters, and aluminum sport pedals.

A New Standalone Woodland Grade

Toyota is making the RAV4 Woodland a standalone grade for 2026, available with either the Hybrid or Plug-In Hybrid powertrain, both with standard AWD. It brings all-terrain tires, a split hammerhead grille, a tow hitch receiver, and Woodland-branded all-weather floor and cargo mats.

Up to 3,500 Pounds of Towing on AWD Grades

AWD plug-in hybrid grades, including SE, XSE, and Woodland, are capable of towing up to 3,500 pounds when properly equipped. That's genuinely useful capability for a compact SUV that's also delivering electric-only daily commuting.

An Available 12.9-Inch Display and New Safety Suite

The new RAV4 launches an available 12.9-inch touchscreen, Toyota's most advanced multimedia system yet, along with an updated version of the Toyota Safety Sense active safety suite. Available Advanced Park makes fitting into a tight parking spot as simple as pressing a button.

Three Distinct Design Styles

The RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid comes in Sport and Rugged design styles, with SE, XSE, and GR SPORT making up the Sport options and Woodland offering the Rugged look. That gives shoppers a genuine choice in character, not just color, within the PHEV lineup.

Be Among the First to Drive the New RAV4 PHEV at Ottawa Toyota

With the longest electric range yet and the debut of the GR SPORT, the 2026 RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid is a genuinely different vehicle from its predecessor. Our team at Ottawa Toyota can walk you through the SE, XSE, Woodland, and GR SPORT grades as they arrive.
